Northstowe is Cambridgeshire’s new town.
The site is located 5 miles (8 km) northwest of the city of Cambridge, between the villages of Oakington and Longstanton. With the plan of 10,000 new homes and an anticipated population of 25,000 people, when completed, Northstowe will become the second largest town in Cambridgeshire.
Northstowe is already linked to Cambridge and St Ives by the Cambridgeshire Guided Busway and will also be served by a light railway station for the proposed Cambridge Metro. The major A14 upgrade was completed in early 2020 allowing very easy access by road.

The first families moved into Northstowe in May 2017 and the community continues to develop and grow since.
