Blue Smile is a leading children’s mental health charity in Cambridgeshire dedicated to transforming the life chances of young people aged 3 to 13 through expert, arts-based therapy and counselling in local schools. Cambridge Acorn Project has been supporting local children and their families affected by trauma and abuse for the last decade.  Trauma can steal opportunities from children. We tackle this by providing long-term support including therapy, clubs and activities, and support to make homes safer. Read more>>>

Every day 250 people start to lose their sight in the UK.  More than 2 million people in the UK are living with sight loss that is severe enough to have a significant impact on their daily lives, such as not being able to drive.  An estimated 30,000 people live with sight loss in Cambridgeshire and 1 in 12 adults live with a sight-threatening condition.  Unless there are bold interventions, these figures are set to increase significantly by 2030. Cornerstone Care in Confidence was founded in 2004 by a group of churches in the Huntingdon area that recognised the difficulties women facing an unplanned pregnancy face and set up a free confidential service to offer non-judgemental support.  Twelve years ago, Helen Turley became the charity director and has grown the service to include the whole of Cambridgeshire Read more>>>

Jimmy’s is a community-based charity with the belief that no one should have to sleep rough in Cambridge. We provide safe places that people can call home. From emergency accommodation to longer-term care at our multiple needs centre and in supported houses and modular homes. We support people from the street floor to their own front door.
